Gage, who previously wrote the comic book adaptation for Marvel’s Spider-Man, will return to write the prequel to Marvel’s Spider-Man 2. “Spider-Man 2 #1” from writer Christos Gage and artist Ig Guara will offer a glimpse at the lives of Peter Parker, Miles Morales and Mary-Jane Watson following the events of the previous games. The prequel comic book will arrive as part of Free Comic Book Day taking place on 6 May, which is only a couple of days away. Insomniac Games and PlayStation have announced a free prequel comic for Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 ahead of the anticipated game’s release later this year.
